Indifference presents an 8 track cassette of the essential material of UK duo Auto-Erotic. Originally recorded at Calder Studios, Lancashire, England over the course of the first half of 2009 in a fit of urgency, impulse and experimentation directly relative to a time of great change and uncertainty, the tracks contained on this, our first cassette release, make up the main body of work from the outburst that was Auto-Erotic. With a sound once described by a beautiful girl as ‘drunken dance floor techno’ and a vocal content cementing the low tone with themes of sexual experience, habit, impulse, fantasy, perversion and crime along with simple observation of and reflection on the state of the nation and the times, they make their bold, awkward mark, like it or not. We are proud to finally permit this unique blend of post techno post punk pop music to see the light of day and dark of night that circumstance has withheld from it for the last five years. For now, available as an edition of just 50 cassette copies.
