Nick Cockroach and Deni Dreamboat make up a special, particularly British fist full of dirt from the alluvium left by the long dried up river of techno. With a background as deeply rooted in punk as anything heard on a four-four dance floor, the pair mould their mongrel influences in both sound and poise together in a humorous and energetic way, letting it all out as shameless as a fifteen year-old mother of two in an inbred gene pool of suitably libidinal moving grooves and stabbing teenage synthetics accompanied by vocals resonating with an innocence paradoxical to the words being said, sung, groaned through clenched nicotine stained teeth, creating music that parents a level of simplicity and carelessness that can only be admired as it satirically mocks the truly menial concerns of a shrouded and subdued British generation.
